If you get real satisfaction from seeing a product go from concept to something people canactually hold, useand manufacture at scale, keep reading.
We’relooking for aSenior Engineer, Mechanical Design & Industrial Designto join our Product Development team and help shape the next generation of physical products. This is a role for someone who enjoys the full product journey, from concept and detailed mechanical design through to prototyping, testingand design refinement.
You’llwork onmechanical systems, componentsand assemblies, helping define the specifications needed to manufacture high-quality products at scale. It’salso a chance to bring a broader product lens to the work, balancing engineering quality, usabilityand physical design decisions in a meaningful way.
Whatyou’llbe doing
Designing and developing mechanical components, assembliesand product concepts.
Creating mechanical specifications that support reliable manufacturing and assembly.
Building, testingand refining prototypes to improve fit, function, performanceand usability.
Working across engineering, designand project teams to bring ideas into real products.
Leading project work and mentoring more junior team members along the way.
Whatyou’llbring
Strong experience inmechanical product design, ideally with products that have moved from concept through to manufacturable outcomes.
Proficiencywith 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Siemens NX or equivalent.
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials selection, tolerance analysis (GD&T;)and Design for Manufacture (DFM/DFA).
Experience designing for manufacturing processes including injection moulding, CNC machining, sheet metalfabricationand additive manufacturing.
Experience using engineering simulation tools such as ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation for structural or thermal analysis.
Experience producing engineering drawings, BOMs and manufacturing documentation.
Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems such as SolidWorks PDM, Teamcenter or Windchill.
A hands-on background inprototyping,testingand iterative product development.
Valuable judgment aroundmaterials, assemblies, manufacturabilityand practical design trade-offs.
An appreciation forindustrial design and user-centred product thinking.
A relevant degree and around8+ years of related experience.
