Mansfield Shire Council is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and community focused individual to take up the role of Financial Accountant. The successful candidate is responsible for the efficient and effective management of Council’s financial and asset accounting, payments, revenue, payroll, and statutory reporting activities in line with policy, statutory and qualified standards.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the position also includes management of the chart of accounts and finance, allocation of corporate overhead costs and segment reporting and assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and the financial plan.
