Are you looking for a rewarding prospect to play a vital role in supporting patient care? Join the Division of Medicine at Nepean Hospital as a Clinical Support Officer.
In this role, you will provide timely and accurate administrative and transactional support to Nurses, Midwives, Medical and Allied Health staff. Working closely with ward clerks and communication officers, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of designated wards and units. This dynamic role offers variety,
with opportunities to support multiple wards and exercise initiative within established processes while working under the guidance of Nurse/Midwife Unit Managers.

What you will bring to the role
- Hold or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent while working as a Clinical Support
- Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high-pressure, high-volume work environment
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated experience in word processing, spreadsheet and database software
- Excellent communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels
