The Role
- Engage with key stakeholders to develop and implement solutions across complex projects
- Project manage and supervise a wide range of insurance repairs including the potential for Major Loss and Commercial building reinstatement works from make safe through to completion
- Actively updating progress on our internal job management system
- Proactively carrying out advance scheduling, managing forecasted work activities and ensuring project completion is within set budgets and timelines
- Project managing trade workflow, quality and timeframes, including routine and mandatory site inspections
- Managing client expectations, providing periodic updates,
with a focus on ensuring an overall positive customer experience
- Maintaining all necessary WHSE site audits, risk assessments and carrying out risk mitigation procedures
Skills and Experience
- Prior building supervision experience in the insurance building field required
- Major Loss and Commercial building work (insurance building) advantageous
- Experience in commercial, residential and strata construction
- Excellent time management skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills and ability to multitask and problem solve
- High level of customer service focus with outstanding relationship management skills
- Commitment to safety with a knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures
Ideally you will have
- Minimum of 2 years working as a supervisor in the Insurance Building field with proven experience managing multiple projects
- A trade, preferably carpentrybackground will be highly regarded
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Insurance and Australian Building Codes.
- Hold a Construction White Card
- Good computer literacy including Excel and Outlook (Prime ecosystem knowledge highly regarded)
- Have a valid driver's licence
- Have a current working with children check and police check (or willing to obtain prior to commencement)
