The Workplace Compliance Operation teams work closely with professional and academic colleagues to ensure that the University meets its operational compliance obligations in relation to casual academics. The teams drive continuous improvement, embeds consistent best-practice,processand frameworks, while overseeing operational compliance across all faculties and business areas. Together, the teams ensure consistent, cohesive standards aremaintained, and that all casual academic staff are paid accurately in line withUniversitypolicies and procedure and legislative requirements.
About the opportunity
As Education and TrainingAdvisoryou willbe responsible fora variety of activities related to the planning, development,deliveryand maintenanceof compliance and capability learning content.
Applying adult learning principles and drawing on their expert knowledge, this role will work closely with key University stakeholders, including senior decision makers, to advise on and then design fit-for-purpose and strategic training solutions that enhance the learner experience and driveand sustainpositive behavioural and operational change across the University.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- design and develop training resources for University professional and academic staff to uplift knowledge and capability
- conducthybrideducation and/or training sessions with target audience groups on EA obligations and compliance including the tools available in the university to manage compliance
- build and maintain qualified relationships through effective communication and engagement capability
- monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and quality of the training programs and communications strategies to ensure they are fit for purpose and lead to increased engagement and compliance
- maintain knowledgeof current trends in educational technology to assist with updating training material,
including the integrated use of innovative AI to support education design.
About you
- Tertiaryqualifications inLearning Designor an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
- experience in managing diverse stakeholder groups, with a proven ability to influence and build strong relationships to drive consensus and achieve common
- experience in analysing and reporting data, including relevant trendsand patterns and formulating insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- experience inthe use ofe-learning tools, especially theArticulate suite
- experience with developing compliance related e-learning content
- experience working in organisations with regulatory compliance and monitoring requirement
- experienced in managing projects from conceptual design through to delivery
- exposure to working with Change frameworks and methodologies
- previous experience in a training developer capacity together witha strong understanding of contemporary HR practices.
