As the licensee's governance, risk and compliance framework continues to mature, the business requires a senior GRC subject matter expert lead the function, own the frameworks end-to-end and embed a genuinely proactive risk culture across the business.

Reporting to the CEO with a functional line to the Chair of the Audit, Risk & Finance Committee, this is a senior, trusted advisor appointment that sits at the intersection of Board governance, licence management and frontline advice delivery. You will own and operate Risk Management Frameworks and Risk Appetite Statement, run the day-to-day operation of its AFSL and ACL, and coordinate the ARFC — its agendas, papers and actions. This function will be a solutions-focused escalation point for compliance issues and complaints,



and the coach who partners with the Heads of Advice, Lending, Operations and Investments to lift capability and strengthen decision-making at the coalface.

You bring senior experience in financial services risk and compliance – combined with a strong working knowledge of an AFSL (ACL experience is a welcome addition). You have built and embedded practical governance, risk and compliance frameworks before, not just written them, and you communicate complex regulatory topics with clarity and confidence — to a Board, Committee and frontline adviser. Above all, you lead through relationships: high in integrity, sound in judgement, and respectfully challenge when something is not in the client's best interests. This newly created function is a licence to lead.
