We are looking for a reliable, hands-on landscape labourer/concreter to join our team.
The position involves a mix of structural landscaping, concreting, retaining-wall construction, earthworks and general civil labouring. A robust hourly rate is available for someone with significant concreting or retaining-wall experience.
The work includes:
- Concrete preparation, formwork, reinforcement, pouring and finishing
- Concrete sleeper and block retaining walls
- Structural landscaping and drainage
- Site preparation and earthworks
- General construction and civil labouring
- Operating machinery where appropriately experienced
What we are looking for:
- Previous concreting, retaining-wall, civil or landscaping experience
- Ability to produce quality work without constant supervision
- Physically fit and willing to work on the tools
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a small team
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Construction White Card
Highly regarded:
- HR or HC truck licence
- Excavator, skid-steer or roller tickets
- Proven machinery operating experience
- Experience reading plans and setting out work
