Remuneration:$278,355 to $376,068 per annum full-time equivalent depending on experience
Hours Per Week:Up to 40hrs per week

About the Role
Providing contemporary comprehensive Specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology services at the primary facility and other facilities where applicable for optimal patient outcomes delivering a healthy community through quality care.
Participating in quality improvement activities as well as providing training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.

Tweed Valley Hospitalis a major referral and teaching hospital located in the heart of the network of hospitals and health facilities across the Tweed-Byron region also including Murwillumbah District and Byron Central Hospitals. Tweed Valley Hospital opened on 14 May 2024. The new facilities include:
- more operating theatres and recovery spaces
- expanded emergency department
- enhanced medical, surgical and mental health services
- enhanced ambulatory care services including more outpatients clinics
- new interventional cardiology service
- new radiotherapy service as part of a new integrated cancer care service.

- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, and/or specialist international medical graduate pathways
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the role delineation of the service
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time
