Step into the world of banking and finance with Women in Banking and Finance (WiBF) as our Events Coordinator. Lead high-impact events, connect with senior executives, and help shape unforgettable experiences that inspire and bring people together.

About WiBF

WiBF is a not-for-profit membership association collectively employing over 600,000 people, dedicated to increasing representation of women in leadership. Our programs and events are open to all genders. WiBF's members include major banks, investment firms, ASX-listed corporates, government departments, insurance firms, law firms, and accounting firms. We deliver engaging events across Australia to support professionals at all levels in their careers.

The Role

This role is all about events coordination. You’ll manage a portfolio of exciting national events, including:

- WiBF’s flagship National Industry Awards, one of the largest in-person events in the banking and finance sector.
- Monthly in-person events and masterclasses.

You’ll work closely with the CEO and team to plan, deliver, and refine events that make a real impact, showcasing industry leaders, creating networking opportunities, and driving engagement.

What You’ll Do





- Coordinate end-to-end national events: planning, venues, speakers, ticketing, sponsorships, logistics, AV, catering, and communications.
- Ensure smooth delivery of in-person and virtual events, including masterclasses with corporate partners.
- Track event success, report on KPIs.
- Build solid relationships with members, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Support the team with ad hoc tasks as needed.

Who We’re Looking For

- Passionate about advancing diversity and inclusion in the banking and finance sector.
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong digital skills: Teams, Zoom, HubSpot and collaboration tools.
- Excellent communicator and relationship-builder.
- Positive, proactive, and ready to take initiative.
- Right to work in Australia.
