We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Supervisor to join our growing team at Azure Group.

About the Role

We're looking for a Tax Supervisor to join our International Tax team. You'll manage a portfolio of SME clients and oversee the delivery of accounting and tax compliance services, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, leading by example, and building lasting relationships with clients. You'll be responsible for delivering quality outcomes, mentoring team members, and ensuring clients receive practical, reliable advice they can trust.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing a portfolio of small to medium size Companies across several industries.
- Review and processing of financials and tax returns for small to medium size Companies.
- Review and processing of Business Activity Statements for Companies.
- Review and processing of Fringe Benefit Tax for Companies.
- Onboarding newly incorporated entities and setting up back office operations.
- Delivering accurate, timely, and practical direct and indirect tax advice.
- Building strong, trusted relationships with clients through exceptional customer service.




- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, providing solutions that meet their business needs.
- Supporting and mentoring team members and maintaining high standards of quality and service.
- Taking ownership of your portfolio, ensuring deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and deliver greater value to clients.

About You

We're looking for someone who is technically capable, commercially minded, and passionate about delivering outstanding client service.

You'll bring:

- Experience in direct and indirect tax, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Knowledge of payroll compliance, State Payroll Tax, Workers Compensation and bookkeeping across several Accounting Software platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence outcomes.
- A genuine commitment to customer service and developing trusted client relationships.
- A solutions-focused approach with the confidence to provide practical advice.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- A hands-on work ethic and willingness to be actively involved in day-to-day processing.
- A proactive, accountable mindset with the ambition to take ownership of your portfolio and drive exceptional results.
