We are AF Electrical. Licensed electricians across Sydney, run by two sparkies who are still on the tools. We install solar and battery storage, and we do commercial and residential electrical work. We are a NETCC Approved Seller under the New Energy Tech Consumer Code, and our work has been featured on Channel 9.
We are hiring a qualified electrician in Sydney to install solar and battery systems full time.
What you will be doing
Installing residential and commercial solar PV systems
Installing battery storage and commissioning inverters
Rooftop DC work, switchboard upgrades, isolator and cabling work
Testing, certifying and signing off to AS/NZS 5033 and AS/NZS 3000
Talking to homeowners like a qualified
Leaving every site cleaner than you found it
What you need
A current electrical worker's registration, unrestricted. Most people call it an A Grade licence.
Working at Heights ticket and Construction White Card
Full driver's licence
You turn up, on time, every day
What we prefer
Ideally you are already qualified across solar, battery and panel installation, with SAA accreditation for grid-connect solar.

$90,000 to $100,000 plus super

Most solar work in this state is subcontract. You carry your own insurance, chase your own money, and wear the gap when a job goes quiet. This is not that.
Solar and battery volume in South Australia is steady and it is not slowing down. We would rather pay a good tradesperson properly and keep them for years than churn through subbies.
