We’re currently looking for a full-time Assistant Manager to join the team at our brand-new venue in Maroochydore.

The Role
Your responsibilities will fall across both the operational and administrative areas of the business. As Assistant Manager, your developed leadership and customer service skills will enable you to positively influence and drive the team toward success.
- Managing the day to day running of the venue including bar service, food and functions
- Ensuring the venue is ready for service and the team are well briefed and ready for service
- Ability to motivate and drive culture in a great venue with a solid team
- Maintaining high standards of service, culture and safety
- Assist in front of house recruitment, induction and ongoing training
- Lead by example and actively encourage the best practices across the business
- Maintain and develop relationships with key suppliers, wholesalers and distributors while also support the Venue Manager to implement cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of the liquor licence, food safety requirements and general workplace health & safety
About you
Critical to your success in this role will be your approachable and sociable personality with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 1 years' experience as an Assistant Venue Manager or Duty Manager within the hospitality industry is essential
- Solid understanding of best practice hospitality procedures, workplace health and safety and quality standards
- Demonstrated drive for revenue growth with an understanding of budgets, wage and COG targets
- RSA, RMLV, Approved Managers licence and First Aid certifications are essential
- Ability to work weekend and nights on a rotating roster
