Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Officer to support the delivery of a portfolio of projects within a complex and fast-paced environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled project professional who can work with limited direction, manage competing priorities and build solid relationships across a range of stakeholders.
As a Senior Project Officer, you will play a key role in coordinating project activities, monitoring delivery and providing high-quality advice and support to ensure projects achieve their intended outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinate project activities, milestones and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, reporting frameworks and supporting documentation.
- Prepare high-quality business cases, executive briefs, project plans and reports.
- Monitor budgets, expenditure, procurement activities and contracts.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and benefits.
- Support quality assurance, continuous improvement and project governance activities.




- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Undertake research, analysis and reporting to inform project decisions.
- Provide guidance, coaching and support to project team members.
- Represent the project team at meetings, workshops and stakeholder forums.

To be successful, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience supporting or managing projects within established project management frameworks.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, coordination and reporting capabilities.
- Experience monitoring project performance, budgets, risks, issues and deliverables.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience contributing to quality management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience supervising, mentoring or supporting team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An active Baseline security clearance.
