Qualified Mechanic / 4WD Accessory Fitter

Join an established Ballina 4WD workshop working across mechanical servicing, 4WD accessory fitting and custom builds. You’ll be part of a well-equipped workshop with a friendly, supportive team and management that values and appreciates its staff.

If you already have 4WD accessory fitting or 12-volt electrical experience, even better - but your mechanical qualification, reliability and quality of workmanship are what matter most to us.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work on a variety of 4WDs and builds, including:

- Mechanical servicing and related workshop work

- Fitting 4WD accessories and upgrades

- Suspension and underbody components

- Bull bars, tow bars, roof racks and touring accessories

- 12V accessories and electrical work where your experience allows

- Custom 4WD builds and fit-outs

- Diagnosing problems and ensuring work is completed to a high standard

What we’re looking for

You’ll need to be:

- A qualified light vehicle mechanic

- Experienced and confident working independently

- Reliable and someone the team can depend on

- Careful, with strong attention to detail

- Proud of the quality of your work

- Willing to learn new products, systems and fitting techniques

- Works well with others and enjoys being part of a positive team.

4WD accessory fitting experience is highly regarded.





12V electrical experience is also highly regarded, but not essential.

Most importantly, we are looking for a good mechanic with the right attitude who takes pride in their work and wants to broaden their skills.
