About the Role

This is a casual role reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. Work will be offered on an as-needed basis. You will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our buildings, gardens and grounds, helping to create safe and comfortable environments for older people in our care.

Key Responsibilities

General building maintenance including minor repairs, painting, replacing fixtures and emergency repairs

Grounds and garden maintenance including mowing, pruning, irrigation and garden bed care

Operating and maintaining tools, mowers, vehicles and horticultural equipment

Preventative and reactive maintenance across sites

Support deliveries, stock,



waste and basic warehouse duties.

About You

You are practical, dependable and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You take pride in keeping environments clean, safe and well-presented and have a genuine respect for older people.

You will have:

- Experience in general maintenance, gardening, groundskeeping, landscaping or similar hands on role
- Practicable skills and confidence in using tools, mowers, and gardening equipment
- The ability to undertake physical work both indoors and outdoors
- A strong commitment to Work Health and Safety
- Valuable communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A respectful, caring and professional approach when working around older people

Appointment is subject to a satisfactory criminal record check and current influenza vaccination.
