Clinical Care Manager - East Melbourne

A leading not-for-profit aged care organisation is seeking a dedicated Clinical Care Manager to provide clinical leadership across all aspects of operations within their large aged care facility in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs.

Reporting to the Residential Manager, you’ll collaborate with management, clinicians, carers, residents, families, support staff, and community agencies to ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-focused care and continuous service improvement.

- Ensure the delivery of safe, person-centred care, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance, and accreditation outcomes.
- Oversee a large facility with a MSU that provides specialised dementia care, fostering a warm and inclusive environment
- Proven people management/performance skills as the organisation is going through a period of change and expansion
- Currently have a 4 star rating and compliant across care minutes
- Structure within the home: Clinical Manager, Unit Manager x 2 Quality, AN-ACC, Lifestyle Team, EN's, RN's and PCW/PCW Med Endorsed
- Executive Structure: Board, CEO, Executive team across quality, residential, community and corporate services

- This is a hands-on leadership role, balancing clinical expertise, staff mentoring, and operational oversight to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care and support.

Requirements:

- Minimum 3-5 years experience working as a CCC/Care Manager (2IC) within the aged care sector.
- Experience dealing with and overseeing dementia residents and memory support unit is highly desired
- AHPRA Registration as anRegistered Nurse DIV 1
- Extensive clinical skills & knowledge
- Knowledge of the Accreditation process and incoming reforms
- Ability to lead and support a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experiencemanagingday to day clinical issues
- Current NDIS Check
