Bridgestone Select Rutherford is seeking a skilled and experienced Tyre Fitter to join our automotive trades team. This is a full-time position working 5 days per week (8.00am-5.00pm) and every 2nd Saturday (8.00am-11.00am) (38HRS per week plus 2HRS overtime plus every 2nd Saturday at OT rates. Based in Rutherford NSW 2320, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive high-quality tyre fitting services, maintaining our reputation for excellence in the automotive industry. You will be responsible for delivering precision work whilst maintaining safety standards and customer satisfaction, making you an essential part of our service operations.

Key responsibilities

- Fit, balance and repair tyres on cars and 4wd but NO TRUCKS safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols
- Conduct inspections of wheels, tyres and suspension components
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used for each vehicle serviced
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding their vehicle service requirements and any additional issues identified
- Keep work areas clean, organised and safe in accordance with workplace health and safety standards
- Operate and maintain specialised equipment including tyre fitting equipment
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of tyres and related components
- Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues when required

What we're looking for

- Formal qualification or recognised tyre fitting, or automotive trades
- Proven experience as a tyre fitter in a busy service centre or similar environment
- Proficiency in using modern and tyre fitting machinery




- Strong understanding of vehicle suspension systems and wheel geometry principles
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Valid Manual driver's licence and the ability to drive customer vehicles when necessary
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service delivery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a quick-paced environment
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks, including lifting and working in varied position
