About the Role
This full‑time Pump Workshop Service Technician role is based in Kemps Creek and involves the maintenance, repair and servicing of a range of water and wastewater equipment, including Flygt and Godwin pump units.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency assessments, servicing and repairs on pumps and the rental fleet both on‑site and in the service workshop.
- Clean, strip and overhaul customer pump sets and products.
- Read, interpret and apply technical drawings and instructions.
- Inspect and test products before dispatch.
- Provide clear and accurate advice to colleagues and customers on service, workshop and product‑related issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation and reports on all work undertaken.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical aptitude and relevant trade qualification such as Fitter,
Electrician or a similar trade.
- Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.
