SKS Technologies is a growing national provider of electrical, audio visual and communications solutions, delivering major projects across commercial, infrastructure, data centres, defence, health, education, government, mining and other critical environments.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – Electrical to join our team and take ownership of major electrical construction projects from award through to completion.

About the Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager / Client Services General Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of large and technically complex projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You will lead project teams, manage key client relationships and have full accountability for project financial performance, commercial outcomes, resources, risk and contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, delivery and handover of major electrical projects.

Manage project budgets, forecasts, cash flow and overall financial performance.

Develop and manage project programmes, procurement and resource plans.

Lead Project Managers, Site Managers, Leading Hands and project support teams.

Manage contracts, variations, extensions of time and commercial negotiations.

Identify and manage project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, builders and key stakeholders.

Oversee commissioning, testing, defects and project close-out.

Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, Australian Standards and client specifications.

Lead HSEQ performance and promote a robust zero-harm culture.

Identify opportunities for variations,



additional works and future projects.

Support tendering, estimating and business development activities where required.

Mentor and develop emerging project managers and project personnel.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Minimum 10 years' industry experience, including at least 5 years in senior project management.

Demonstrated experience delivering electrical projects valued at $10M+.

Strong experience across commercial, industrial, infrastructure or data centre environments.

Proven financial, contractual and commercial management capabilities.

Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.

Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

A strong understanding of HSEQ requirements and project risk management.

The ability to manage multiple priorities and make commercially sound decisions.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Business Management or a related discipline are highly regarded.

Additional qualifications or certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, NECA WHS for Managers and Supervisors, and First Aid will be advantageous.
