Casual opportunities exist at the Ballarat Aquatic & Lifestyle Centre for positive and friendly individuals to join our Aquatics team as an AUSTSWIM qualified teacher of Swimming and Water Safety.
We're looking for positive, energetic and vibrant people with a willingness to learn and continuously improve. In these roles you will be responsible for delivering classes in our Aquatic Education program which focuses on teaching children and adults to swim and be safer around aquatic environments. Our classes cater for students 3 years of age through to adults. You will only be assigned infant and preschool classes if you have the required qualification.
You will have exceptional customer service skills and a strong desire to exceed member expectations, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
Flexible schedule and days are required for this role over a 6-day roster which include some or all the following; mornings, afternoons, evenings and/or weekends.
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety.
- Working with Children Check.
- Level 2 First Aid and CPR.
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics.
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Aquatics- Access and Inclusion.
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Developing Competitive Strokes.
Please note successful applicants will be required to undertake a full pre-employment medical and police check.
