Modern, fully-equipped workshop with industry-leading repair technology
The position will involve, but not be limited to:
- Mixing and matching paints to manufacturer specifications using computerised colour matching systems
- Applying primers, base coats, and clear coats to repaired panels and full vehicles
- Blending and fading paint to achieve seamless colour matches
- Inspecting finished paintwork for quality before vehicles move to the detail stage
- Working efficiently to production targets without compromising finish quality
- Maintaining spray equipment, the booth, and accurate job records
To be successful, you must be able to prove below pre-requisites:
- Completed trade qualification in Automotive Refinishing or equivalent experience
- Proven experience (2-3+ years) of automotive spray painting in a smash repair or refinishing environment
- Solid attention to detail with colour matching and blending skills
- Ability to work to targets in a high-volume production environment
- Detail-oriented with a consistent, high standard of finish
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and a solid team player
- Full Australian work rights required
