Chas Clarkson is the national market leader in seasonal event design and illumination, creating magical and memorable experiences for our clients. We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our Sales team. Working with high-end clients nationally, this role offers a great team environment, job variety and good future prospects.
Reporting directly to the Client Portfolio Manager, this is a unique and exciting opportunity. The right candidate will be professional, friendly, have excellent attention to detail and be able to multitask.
The position is based in the Sydney head office at Mascot. This is a seasonal fixed-term role commencing immediately and concluding in December 2026.

Our clientele includes premier shopping centres, hotels, casinos and airports throughout the country.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Handling phone inquiries,
acting as the main client interface for incoming calls
- Manage sales orders via the phone and website
- Keep dispatch register up to date with sales orders
- Effective processing of customer orders
- Assisting in Showroom when required
- Maintaining the established client database
- Developing a strong understanding of the company's product range and services
- Assembling and sending client quotes
- Ensuring approval paperwork, workflows and customer contracts are completed accurately and efficiently
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure projects are on track
- Proactively deal with issues as they arise
Key requirements:
- Ability to establish and maintain solid business relationships with clients
- 2-4 years' practical experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Highly organised with excellent administration skills
- Quick learner who is thorough and has strong attention to detail
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Available to work for the full seasonal contract through December 2026
- Flexible with regard to work hours during the peak season
