About the role

The Medical Imaging Department at Barwon Health (Barwon Medical Imaging) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified internal radiology trainees for a 6-month, part-time (3 days per week) MRI Advanced Training position commencing February 2027.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified radiology trainee to gain advanced training in all aspects of MRI, while also maintaining exposure to broader diagnostic radiology practice within the department.

The successful applicant will also participate in the on-call roster, supporting continued experience across general medical imaging services.

Key responsibilities

- Participate in MRI advanced training across a range of imaging services
- Maintain broader diagnostic radiology skills through departmental exposure
- Participate in the on-call roster as required
- Contribute to team-based clinical service delivery

- Demonstrated interest in MRI and advanced imaging training
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
