We are seeking highly skilled Heavy Vehicle/Plant Mechanic's to join our team at Henry Plant and Equipment Hire Pty Ltd in Lithgow, NSW. As a full‑time Heavy Vehicle/Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our diverse fleet of heavy vehicles and plant equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well‑established and reputable company in the Trades & Services industry.

What you'll be doing

- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults on a variety of heavy vehicles and plant equipment
- Performing routine maintenance and servicing on our fleet, including scheduled inspections, oil changes, and component replacements
- Maintaining detailed records of all work carried out and parts used
- Collaborating with the wider team to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of our equipment
- Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations

What we're looking for

- Relevant trade qualification, such as a Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent, Light Vehicle Mechanic Trade is also encouraged to apply
- Experience as a Heavy Vehicle/Plant or light vehicle Mechanic




- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of heavy vehicles and plant equipment, including excavators, loaders, and earthmoving machinery
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work
- A valid driver's licence with no restrictions and the ability to work in a team environment
- Australian citizenship is required for this position
- Willingness to undergo a pre‑employment full functioning Medical
