- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist.
- Demonstrated experience in Mental Health Drug and Alcohol.
- Demonstrated understanding of the concept and principles of mental health rehabilitation and recovery and demonstrated experience and skills using a collaborative, strengths based approach to the care of mental health consumers.
- Proven ability to think critically, problem solve and make timely, sound clinical decisions whilst working autonomously.
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical leadership and clinical supervision to mental health clinicians from all disciplines, upholding standards of clinical practice, and critically analyse, review and develop relevant policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in running group interventions for consumers of Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Services.
- Ability to communicate effectively and engage and collaborate with consumers, their families and carers and/or other stakeholders, and a demonstrated high level proficiency in computer literacy.
- Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
