We are seeking a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, and Wellbeing Team. This multidisciplinary team delivers high-quality, recovery-focused care from four Wellbeing Place centres and through outreach services to more than 30 remote communities across Western NSW, travelling by 4WD and light aircraft to reach those who need support most.
As a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will provide coordinated clinical care and therapeutic support to people living with chronic and complex mental health conditions across Broken Hill, Dubbo and Western NSW. The MHNIP model offers exceptional flexibility, enabling consumers to access the right care, at the right time, for as long as they need it- an approach particularly valuable for those experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. The role combines therapeutic intervention, care coordination and case management, tailoring support to each individual's goals and recovery journey in accordance with MHNIP guidelines and contemporary best practice.
