The Role and Opportunity
As a Senior Adviser Support, you'll work closely with our Financial Advisers to deliver an outstanding client experience from onboarding through to ongoing service and implementation.
What You'll Do
- Support Financial Advisers in the delivery of advice and ongoing client service.
- Coordinate the onboarding of new clients, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
- Implement advice recommendations accurately and within required timeframes.
- Prepare review reports and associated documentation.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and support.
- Liaise confidently with advisers to clarify requirements, manage priorities, and ensure client outcomes are achieved.
- Maintain accurate client records within Xplan and other systems.
- Lead and develop a team of three direct reports, providing coaching, performance management and professional development to build team capability
- Assist with client meetings and follow-up actions.
- Monitor and respond to client and adviser enquiries via phone, email, and the general mailbox.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Adviser Support, Client Services, Financial Planning Administration, or a similar role within financial services.
- Strong client-facing experience with the confidence and professionalism to engage directly with clients.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Confidence working alongside advisers and proactively seeking clarification when required.
- A self-starter who can think independently, take ownership, and anticipate needs.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Technologically confident, with strong proficiency in platforms including Xplan and Microsoft Office.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced setting.
Location
This role is based in Moorabbin and offers built-in flexibility to support a healthy work-life balance. During the first six months, you'll be required to work on-site to ensure a smooth onboarding and training experience.
Our offices are located in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Townsville, Philippines, and India.
