RJ Automotive Installations is a growing, family-owned business specialising in automotive technology solutions across light vehicles, heavy vehicles, and machinery. We are looking for a motivated Field Services Technician to join our small, close-knit team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, mobile role ideal for someone with a passion for vehicles, technology, and problem-solving. You’ll be working across a variety of job sites, delivering high-quality installations and services while representing our business professionally.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, service, test, and troubleshoot GPS and fleet management systems
- Work on a range of vehicles including light vehicles, heavy vehicles, and machinery
- Complete wiring, mounting, and calibration to a high standard
- Install equipment such as IVMS, cameras, dash cams, spotlights, and car stereos
- Manage daily schedules and travel between job sites
- Maintain detailed job cards,



including photos and accurate records to ensure customer satisfaction

About You

- Experience in auto-electrical work, GPS, or fleet management system installation
- Robust knowledge of 12V and 24V electrical systems (essential)
- High attention to detail and pride in clean, professional workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, including outside Brisbane when required
- Basic computer and mobile device skills
- Experience with systems such as MTData, Navman, Geotab or Guardian is highly regarded
