Senior Client-Side Project Manager | $180k + Super | Diverse Projects!

Ascend Recruit is partnering with a boutique, fast-growing project management consultancy based in Brisbane’s inner city to appoint an experienced Senior Client-Side Project Manager.

This is an prospect to join a growing consultancy where you’ll have genuine ownership and influence across projects, working closely with clients and key stakeholders from early planning through to delivery.
With a diverse pipeline across commercial, sports, leisure, stadium and education projects, this role offers excellent variety, senior stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to work on exciting projects across Brisbane.

The Role

As a Senior Client-Side Project Manager, you’ll manage projects from early planning and feasibility through design, procurement and delivery, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and driving successful project outcomes.
You’ll work closely with clients, consultants, architects, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered strategically, commercially and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead client-side project management across a range of major projects
- Manage projects from feasibility and early planning through to completion
- Lead consultant and design teams
- Manage procurement, tendering, budgets, programmes and project risks
- Coordinate builders, contractors and key stakeholders




- Provide strategic advice and reporting to clients
- Manage project governance, documentation and commercial outcomes
- Build strong, long-term client relationships
- Take ownership of multiple projects and drive them through to successful completion

About You

- 5 -7+ years’ experience in project management
- Strong client-side, consultancy or development-side experience
- Experience across commercial, education, sports, leisure, stadium or major projects
- Strong understanding of design, procurement and construction processes
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
- Commercially astute with strong attention to detail
- Confident managing consultants, contractors and project teams
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Ambitious, proactive and looking to make a genuine impact within a growing business
