About the role
As a key member of our customs team, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring compliance with current Australian Border Force (ABF) and Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) requirements
- Managing biosecurity documentation, directions and lodgement requirements
- Responding to queries or impediments raised by ABF and DAFF
- Preparing refunds, drawbacks, tariff advices and valuation advices
- Supporting strong client relationships through proactive communication and practical solutions
- Working collaboratively with our operations team to achieve the best outcomes for our clients
About you
We’re looking for an experienced broker who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
Ideally you will have:
- Current Australian Customs Broker Licence (requirement)
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Licensed Customs Broker
- Current CPD and CBC requirements
- Accredited Person status for relevant DAFF approved arrangements (desirable)
- Robust understanding of customs legislation, compliance and reporting requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine client-focused approach
