We're looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to become the key tradesperson on site—someone who enjoys delivering quality craftsmanship while leading a small team and working alongside an experienced Project Manager.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll take ownership of the carpentry works on site while coordinating a small team of carpenters, labourers and subcontractors.

Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll help keep projects running safely, efficiently and to the high standard our clients expect.

Annual Salary: $98,000 – $120,000,depending on your skills, experience and demonstrated capability.

What You'll Be Doing

- Deliver high-quality carpentry across custom residential projects.




- Lead and mentor a small team on site.
- Read plans, set out work and coordinate daily site activities.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Coordinate materials, deliveries and site organisation.
- Identify and resolve site issues before they become problems.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to achieve project milestones.
- Lead by example with professionalism, communication and attention to detail.

About You

- Minimum 5 years' experience in residential construction.
- Experience leading or supervising a small site team.
- Strong experience with architectural renovations, extensions or custom homes.
- Ability to confidently read and interpret construction drawings.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Robust commitment to quality workmanship and site safety.
- Current White Card.
- Current Driver Licence.
- Own carpentry tools.
