Richard Crookes Constructions is looking for two experienced Site Supervisors to join our Major Projects teams in Inner Sydney.

The Projects

Sydney Biomedical Accelerator | $450M | Health, Research & Education

Located across the University of Sydney and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital precinct, the Sydney Biomedical Accelerator will deliver a landmark 36,000sqm health, research and education facility.

A first-of-its-kind facility in Australia, the project will bring together multidisciplinary teams through world-class laboratory research facilities, specialist core laboratories, technical support spaces and education facilities.

Powerhouse Museum Redevelopment | $250M | Community & Culture

The redevelopment of one of Sydney's most iconic cultural institutions will transform the 146-year-old Powerhouse Museum, delivering new and improved exhibition spaces, a major new public square and stronger connections to the Goods Line, while conserving and restoring the heritage significance of the site.

Delivered for Infrastructure NSW on behalf of the NSW Government, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to a project that will shape Sydney's cultural and educational precinct for generations.

The Chance

Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager, you'll take ownership of the planning, coordination and day-to-day delivery of works within your area.

You'll be responsible for maintaining project momentum and ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the high standard expected across RCC's Major Projects portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating and driving daily site activities across your allocated works
- Managing subcontractors and building strong relationships to drive programme and performance




- Developing and monitoring short-term programmes and identifying potential risks or delays
- Coordinating trades, materials, equipment and upcoming works
- Monitoring workmanship and ensuring quality requirements are achieved
- Working closely with the broader project team to resolve design and construction issues
- Leading a positive, collaborative and safety-focused site environment
- Maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders and subcontractors

The RCC position description places particular emphasis on technical knowledge across major building trades, WHS, quality and environmental responsibilities, along with the ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme.

About You

We're looking for experienced Site Supervisors who enjoy being on the ground, driving the job and working collaboratively with their teams.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Demonstrated experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman or similar within commercial construction
- Experience working on large-scale, complex construction projects
- Strong technical knowledge across building trades and construction methodology
- Proven ability to coordinate and manage subcontractors
- Strong programming, planning and problem-solving capability
- A thorough understanding of WHS, quality and environmental requirements
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across site teams
- A trade background, preferably carpentry, or another relevant construction qualification
