We work with individuals, families, and communities to improve health outcomes through practical, client-centered care. Our services span clinic consultations, outreach, Aboriginal health, NDIS, aged care, chronic disease management, and health promotion.
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) to join our team in Alice Springs.
This is a fantastic chance for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, values holistic care, and is keen to work in a rural and remote setting.
You’ll deliver high-quality, tailored nutrition care across diverse populations, adapting your approach to suit cultural, social, and environmental contexts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualised nutrition assessments and develop care plans
- Provide dietary counselling across areas such as:
- Disability nutrition
- Aged care
- Chronic disease (e.g. diabetes, cardiovascular disease)
- Gut health
- Women’s health
- Weight and metabolic health
- Menu planning and development
- Deliver services in-clinic, via telehealth, and through outreach
- Develop practical, culturally appropriate nutrition strategies
- Participate in health promotion and community education
About You:
- Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience (private practice or disability highly regarded)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Client-centered, non-judgemental approach
- Ability to work independently and within a small team
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Interest or experience in rural, remote or Aboriginal health
- Current Police Check & Working with Children (Ochre Card)
- Driver’s licence (preferred for outreach work)
