We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused Forklift Drivers and Labourers to join our cargo operations team at Queensland Airport.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in warehousing, freight, logistics or cargo operations who are looking to build a career in the aviation industry.

About the Role

Working as part of a busy cargo operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and productive handling, movement, and processing of air freight.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate forklifts and other cargo-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload freight, pallets, ULDs, trucks and cargo containers.
- Move cargo between receiving, storage, build-up and dispatch areas.
- Build, break down, pack and unpack ULDs and loose cargo.
- Check freight for correct labels, quantities and condition.
- Use scanners and computer systems to process and record cargo.
- Handle freight carefully to prevent damage or loss.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
- Follow all workplace health and safety and aviation security procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.




- Meet operational deadlines and customer requirements.
- Report damaged, missing or incorrectly identified freight to supervisors.
- Perform general warehouse and labouring duties as required.

What We Are Looking For

- Current forklift licence for forklift positions.
- Previous experience in warehousing, freight, logistics or cargo is highly regarded.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability to successfully complete required airport security and pre-employment checks.
- Must have a police check.
- Must have car and license.
- Medical required.
