Commercial Manager

Location: Hybrid role based in Byron Bay and Burleigh Heads offices with occasional travel as required
Salary: Negotiable for the right candidate

Forge Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial and financial management of key programs, with an immediate focus on supporting the delivery of NSW's Home Energy Savings Project.

This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to a proactive self‑starter who can quickly step into a fast‑paced environment and take ownership of commercial, contractual, and financial performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial management, payment processes, contract administration, procurement, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and commercial risk management across the program.

About You

- Experienced in commercial management, contract administration, or project controls.
- Strong financial management and payment processing background.




- Comfortable working autonomously and hitting the ground running.
- Highly organised with strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
- Skilled at managing stakeholders, negotiating outcomes, and supporting project delivery teams.
- Ideally bring experience in construction, infrastructure, government programs, or related sectors.

What You'll Bring

- 10+ years' experience in project, commercial, or contracts management.
- Proven ability to manage project finances, contracts, procurement, and reporting.
- Solid leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant tertiary or professional qualifications in law, commerce, project management, or a related discipline.
