Tired of chasing quotes, hitting sales targets, or starting your day at a depot?
This is a stable, Monday-to-Friday residential electrical role with a fully maintained company vehicle, a pre-booked schedule, and work that genuinely matters. No weekends. No cold calls. No upselling - ever.
We're a leading Australian property compliance company. We're looking for an A-Grade Electrician in Melbourne - someone who wants to help build something, not just fill a seat.
What's In It For You
- $90,000 - $100,000 + super - we pay at the top of the compliance market
- Company vehicle - fully maintained, with fuel card, E-Tag and uniform provided
- Start from home - no depot check-ins, just straight to your first job
- Monday to Friday - consistent hours, no weekends, no on-call
- No quoting pressure, no upselling, no sales targets - focus on doing great work
- Purpose-driven team - small, supportive, and proud of what we do
What You'll Be Doing
Most days you'll complete a pre-booked run of residential visits across Melbourne metro - all managed through a easy mobile app. Expect variety, autonomy, and the satisfaction of leaving every home safer than you found it.
- Electrical safety checks under the Victorian Residential Tenancies Regulations, to AS/NZS 3019 periodic verification
- Testing polarity, earth continuity, RCDs, switchboards,
circuit protection, socket outlets, light fittings and fixed appliances
- Installing, testing and servicing smoke alarms in residential properties
- Complete residential repairs and maintenance
- Identifying non-compliant installations and flagging rectification works
- Providing professional, respectful service to tenants, landlords and property managers
- Completing jobs digitally via mobile app - minimal admin, no paperwork chasing
What You'll Bring
- Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence (or transferable interstate licence)
- Strong testing and fault-finding skills - this is inspection and diagnosis work, not installation
- White Card and current LVR/CPR certification
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to safety
- Great communication skills and a people-first approach
Why This Role Matters
Working smoke alarms cut the risk of dying in a house fire by around half - but only when they're installed correctly and actually working. A hidden switchboard or wiring fault can sit in a home for years until the day it doesn't. Every property you sign off is a family who gets to sleep safely without ever knowing your name.
This isn't just an electrical job. It's work worth doing.
