FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Commercial, Government and Finance.

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to support testing across complex telecommunications and technology environments. The role suits a strong test qualified with hands‑on experience across test planning, integration testing, UAT, defect management and test delivery. You'll work closely with delivery teams, SMEs, architects and stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes and successful releases.

Telco or service provider experience is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead test planning, execution and delivery across assigned projects.
- Develop test strategies, plans, cases and supporting documentation.
- Lead integration, system and acceptance testing activities.
- Manage defects, risks, dependencies, test environments and reporting.
- Coordinate testing with business SMEs, delivery teams, architects and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate test sessions, checkpoint meetings and defect resolution.




- Maintain testing artefacts and status reporting using Jira, Confluence or similar tools.
- Support production releases and post-implementation activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, efficiency and quality.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

- 7+ years' testing experience with strong test delivery experience.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Hands‑on testing experience within telecommunications or service provider environments.
- Experience across FTTP, FTTC, FTTN, FTTB, HFC, Fixed Wireless or similar telco technologies.
- Strong integration, system and UAT experience.
- Experience with defect and test management.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence and/or SharePoint.
- Exposure to platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, Remedy, Appian, Comptel and APIs is desirable.
- Agile experience and relevant testing/ITIL certification is advantageous.
