The Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Receivals Officer to join our NDC team.
This casual role supports the smooth operation of the warehouse and distribution functions by preparing loading documentation, maintaining accurate records, raising carrier consignment notes (connotes), and ensuring all transport providers and visitors meet site induction and compliance requirements.
This role could transition into a permanent full-time position for the right candidate who demonstrates the skills, commitment and attitude we are looking for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate loading documentation is prepared and issued to transport providers.
- Ensure all transport providers comply with site entry requirements by completing the Rapid Global induction prior to entering the site.
- Maintain and update equipment records, including correcting pallet quantities and weights.
- Accurately record and maintain unloading details for all inbound deliveries.
- Prepare and record loading details for all outbound dispatches.
- Capture and verify pallet quantities, load weights, vehicle registration numbers,
and loading/unloading times.
- Prepare, issue, and maintain carrier consignment notes (connotes).
- Prepare, verify, and distribute all loading documentation to transport providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
The successful candidate will have:
- Dedicated and reliable, with a strong work ethic and commitment to achieving quality outcomes.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise competing deadlines.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in documentation and data entry.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in logistics, warehouse administration, transport coordination, or a similar role an advantage.
- Sound computer skills, including experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
