Talent Propeller is supporting a well-known Melbourne manufacturing organisation in the South Eastern Suburbs to find an experienced HR Advisor who enjoys being visible, approachable and genuinely connected to the people they support.

This is an opportunity to join an established and respected business where HR has a meaningful role to play. You'll become a trusted partner to leaders across the manufacturing operation, offering practical advice, asking the right questions and helping people work through challenges with confidence.

Your days will be varied. You might coach a manager through a performance conversation, provide guidance on an employee relations matter or help resolve an issue before it becomes something bigger. At other times, you'll manage recruitment, support learning and development, coordinate remuneration reviews and other broader initiatives designed to strengthen the workplace culture.

What matters most is how you work with people.

You'll be someone who listens, builds credibility and knows when to coach, when to challenge and when to step in.



You can comfortably move between the factory floor and leadership conversations, adapting your approach without losing sight of fairness, consistency or the needs of the business.

Because manufacturing has its own pace, pressures and people challenges, previous HR experience within a manufacturing or production environment is essential. You'll understand operational workforces and bring practical knowledge of employee relations, industrial relations and Australian workplace requirements.

Just as importantly, you'll be down-to-earth, organised and confident handling sensitive situations. You don't need to have all the answers immediately, but you'll know how to find the right path forward and bring people with you.
