What you will do
As Senior Assurance Analyst, you will lead assurance work across Victoria's emergency management sector. You will help ensure systems work well and improve over time.
You will:
- lead and help maintain the statewide assurance framework, plans, methods and resources.
- develop sound assurance methods and give expert advice on selected parts of emergency management.
- lead assurance work on critical infrastructure resilience and emergency management planning.
- represent IGEM at state forums and provide expert advice on emergency management matters.
- prepare clear briefs, papers and reports for the Inspector-General, executives and government.
About you
A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is desirable. You do not need this qualification if your experience meets the role needs.
You will bring strong technical skills and a clear focus on better results.
You should also have:
- strong experience developing and using assurance frameworks, reviews and performance monitoring methods.
- high-level research, analysis and investigation skills, with the ability to make transparent findings.
- knowledge of emergency management, which is highly desirable for this role.
- flexibility and sound judgement,
with the ability to solve problems and work well with others.
