About us:

Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west.

Emergency nurses can enjoy a diverse and rewarding career across Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service's rural facilities in Atherton, Innisfail, Mareeba, Mossman and Tully, caring for patients across a broad range of presentations while working as part of highly skilled multidisciplinary teams. About your role:

Your main tasks may included (but are not limited to):

- Primary and focused assessments of paediatric and adult patients.
- Performing vital signs, ECG's, cardiac monitoring, urinalysis and other point of care-testing.
- Interfacility transfer of patients.
- Triage (with relevant experience).
- Resus (with relevant experience).
