AWIC Coordinator

- Remote - Permanent part-time position
- Monday–Friday (20 hours per week)

About the Role

We’re seeking a highly organised, proactive AWIC Coordinator to support Awesome Women In Construction and to advocate and educate the next generation and existing network of women in the construction industry.

Awesome Women in Construction (AWIC) is a not-for-profit association dedicated to providing support, resources, and networking opportunities to women working across Australia’s construction industry.

About You

- Exceptional organisation and the ability to manage multiple moving parts
- Assist with event coordination, comfortable with managing logistics & schedules
- Commitment to AWIC members, sponsors and stakeholders
- High attention to detail to deliver professional work to the right audience
- A positive, engaging, solutions focused and community‑minded approach
- Must have a current driver’s licence and reliable transport

Key Responsibilities

- Proactive communication with communities, industry, colleges, schools, networks, and various government connections
- Key support to various events and roadshow activities
- Coordinate schedules, transport,



and required insurances for tours in each location
- Develop run sheets for each event and distribute them to all relevant parties
- Liaise with all parties post‑events to gather feedback and support continuous improvement

Due to the role requirements, having a driver’s licence and reliable transport is important due to public transport restrictions in some locations.
