As the NDIS Operations Manager/ Service Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the business operates efficiently, professionally and in accordance with NDIS requirements and internal policies and procedures. You will work closely with the Director and leadership team to establish strong operational systems, recruit and manage a high-quality workforce, maintain participant satisfaction and ensure the organisation is audit-ready at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the organisation.
- Ensure participants receive reliable, high-quality and person-centred services.
- Coordinate participant onboarding and service commencement.
- Monitor service delivery, staffing and operational performance.
- Identify operational issues and implement practical solutions.
- Develop and improve systems and processes as the organisation grows.
- Establish clear KPIs and operational reporting.
- Maintain strong knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and operational requirements.
- Ensure policies and procedures are implemented effectively across the organisation.
- Recruit, onboard and coordinate support workers and other staff.
About you
- Previous experience in an NDIS Operations Manager, Service Manager, Practice Manager, Area Manager or senior disability-services role.
- Strong understanding of the NDIS environment and Practice Standards.
- Demonstrated experience managing staff and service delivery.
- Experience with compliance, incidents, complaints,
risk management and quality systems.
- Strong understanding of participant-centred service delivery.
- Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
- High level of computer literacy and experience using care-management/NDIS software.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one.
- Working with Children Check, where applicable.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Australian working rights.
- Current driver's licence.
