Advanced Abilities is a NDIS-registered / community-based organisation dedicated to supporting people with disabilities to live independent, fulfilling lives.
We're seeking dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients living with disability. You'll support individuals across a range of daily activities, helping them build independence, confidence, and connection to their community.
Day-to-day you will:
● Assist clients with personal care, including showering, dressing, and grooming
● Support with meal preparation and household tasks
● Provide transport and community access (shopping, appointments, social outings)
● Assist with mobility, including use of hoists and other equipment (training provided)
● Support clients to achieve goals outlined in their NDIS plan
● Maintain accurate progress notes and incident reporting
● Build genuine, respectful relationships with clients and their families
About You
● Certificate III or IV in Individual Support / Disability, Community Services, or related field (or working towards)
● Previous experience in disability or aged care support preferred, but not essential — full training provided for the right candidate
● Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
● NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
● Current Australian driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle
● Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting others
● Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
