The Position
Live local? Work local. We’re looking for a Team Leader – Precincts to lead our Precincts team across Tully and surrounding communities, helping care for the parks, streets and public spaces you see and use every day.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your work is visible and valued by the community. You’ll be out in the field, leading a local team and taking pride in keeping our region looking its best by:
- Leading and supporting a field-based crew across Tully and surrounds
- Maintaining gardens, landscapes and public open spaces
- Keeping CBD areas clean, safe and welcoming for locals and visitors
- Caring for high-profile precincts, parks and community spaces
- Working across tropical parks and coastal areas that make the Cassowary Coast special

About You
You’re reliable, community-minded and comfortable working in tropical conditions. Most importantly, you enjoy being part of a local team, contributing to something bigger, and doing work that people in your community truly value.
- Experience leading or supervising outdoor or field-based teams
- Practical skills in gardening, landscaping, grounds or precinct maintenance
- A strong focus on presentation, safety and quality of work
- The ability to plan daily tasks, support your team and lead by example
- A genuine connection to the local area and pride in keeping it looking its best
