Manage the allocated plant, materials and human resources to meet key project timelines for assigned projects. You will manage the job site on a day-to-day basis, liaise with all subcontractors to ensure completed works meet required specifications, and work in conjunction with the Project Manager, Estimators and Engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the allocated plant, materials and human resources to meet key project timelines for assigned projects
- Liaise with all subcontractors and ensure completed works meet the required specifications
- Ensure that workers adhere to Applied Groups safety policies and procedures at all times, whilst maintaining quality standards
- Adhere to allocated budgets and KPIs for projects monthly and flag any issues
- Participate in site audits, client meetings, signoffs, safety inspections and other requirements at appropriate stages for each project
- Manage job site on a day-to-day basis
- Delegate daily responsibilities
- Ensure project documentation and administration is completed as required
- Maintain equipment to ensure it remains serviceable, clean, tidy, and safe for operation
- Perform other general duties as required
About you
- Experience in civil construction environments in a supervisory capacity, with a focus on commercial work
- Organised and capable with high qualified standards
- Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
- Focused on health and safety
- Ability to travel for regional based projects
