We’re looking for a Casual Administration Officer to provide efficient, responsive clerical support and help deliver a high-quality, cost-effective service to our clients. You’ll bring great organisation, attention to detail and a customer-focused approach to a busy pathology environment, supporting the team with a range of administrative duties and helping keep day-to-day operations on track.

Key competencies (role specific criteria)

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

- Demonstrated working knowledge and skills in medical typing and computer programs relevant to duties.
- Demonstrated ability to work to professional standards without direct supervision and to organise and prioritise the administrative workload of a Group Co-ordinating Laboratory.
- Demonstrated high level of written and oral communication skills and a high level of interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- A demonstrated commitment to the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement.
- Knowledge of, or ability to acquire knowledge of, procedures policies and regulations which impact on the position, in particular the Queensland Health Code of Conduct, and a knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues such as work place health and safety, equal employment chance and anti-discrimination.
