At Kidzco Early Learning Centre Palmwoods, we are seeking passionate and inspiring Early Childhood Diploma Educators to join our growing teaching team.

Our unique double-service centre works collaboratively to provide high-quality care and education to children and families within our community. About You

You understand how young children learn through play and everyday routines and rituals. Your curriculum is responsive to young children's thinking, play schemas and development. You join with families and community to nurture young children in their formative years. You position yourself as a learner, demonstrating responsibility for continuous practice improvement and reflective practice. You will also possess:

- Confident and enthusiastic in exploring loose parts, nature play and a respectful, child-led slow pedagogy. You value children’s ideas, allow time for meaningful exploration and embrace open-ended learning experiences that support curiosity, creativity, independence and connection with the natural environment.

- The ability to create engaging, inclusive,



and safe learning environments for children to explore

- Experience documenting children’s learning and development

- Strong relationship-building skills with children, families, and fellow educators

- The ability to collaborate with educators to develop learning programs based on each child’s interests, ideas, and goals using the Early Years Learning Framework

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- A positive, caring attitude and strong teamwork skills

- Professional presentation and a proactive approach

- The ability to inspire and mentor fellow educators, building team confidence and capability

- Experience supporting children’s behaviour and social development in a respectful and responsive way

- A willingness to contribute ideas and insights during team collaboration meetings

- A strong understanding of child protection responsibilities and child-safe practices

Key skills and requirements:





- An ACECQA recognized Diploma in Early Childhood Education or working towards completion of qualification

- An approved Working with Children Check (State Specific)

- Completion of Mandatory Foundations of Child Protection Training (Gekko)

- Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates

- Experience leading and developing age specific programs and routines

- Knowledge and understanding of industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.

- A passion for the education and care of children in a play-based learning environment.

- The ability to be versatile to cover operational rostering requirements across Monday-Friday.
