Chorus is looking for a friendly and reliable volunteer to help deliver meals to older and vulnerable members of the Albany community. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s day by providing a warm meal and a friendly face. The role may also involve occasional assistance with packing meals.
The position would suit a retired person who enjoys helping others and being part of the local community. A current C Class Driver’s Licence and NDIS Clearance are required, with the cost of the NDIS Clearance reimbursed by Chorus. Availability is versatile, with deliveries mainly taking place Tuesday to Thursday. Volunteers will receive a buddy shift to help them become familiar with the role, and $15 is provided per shift. Start date is ASAP.
