About the Role

Anglicare's Home and Community service offers a range of supports and assistance to a variety of local residents, including help at home, social inclusion and community connectedness.

Our Administration Officer is an integral role within the team. The overall purpose of the role is to provide quality operational administration support to the service. Based within our Eight Mile Plains office, this role is a 3‑month Fixed term full‑time position . If you're customer focused, looking for additional hours and love working for a values‑based organisation then this is the role for you. The pay rate for the role will range from $30.73-$31.84/hour depending on your experience.

Responsibilities

- A commitment to the importance of high‑quality client service and an ability to provide friendly and courteous service.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise, advise and work with staff, managers and clients at all levels and deal with complex and sensitive interpersonal matters.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and contribute to a positive and successful work workplace.
- Ability to assess priorities and manage competing deadlines both independently and as a member of a team.




- Experience in the use of Microsoft desktop software, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Able to sustain a high level of concentration in a volume processing activity to ensure accuracy and identify errors.
- Demonstrated accounts receivable and/or petty cash experience (desirable).
- General understanding of quality framework (desirable).

About you

- National Police check, or willingness to obtain.
- Current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Certificate in Business Administration or related disciple - desirable.
